Suite à notre visite avec Kristin Mckirby au Musée de Sèvres, nous vous proposons une visite privée à La Manufacture de Sèvres, normalement non accessible au grand public. La Manufacture nationale de porcelaine, fondée en 1740 à Vincennes puis déplacée à Sèvres en 1756, a pour mission de produire des objets d’art en porcelaine grâce à des techniques transmises de génération en génération depuis le XVIIIème siècle. L’établissement consacre plus de la moitié de sa production à la création contemporaine en veillant à promouvoir tradition et modernité afin de séduire par la qualité et par la nouveauté et de se différencier par l’audace.
A chaque époque se sont conjugués les savoir-faire des artisans, l’imagination et le talent des artistes venus se ressourcer.
